for athletes, general fitness and students.
Polar USA contacted us to help them redesign their very large consumer
and B2B website. ima provided Polar
with the web and information architecture, site templates, programming
and quality control. It was a 6-month project with over 1000 pages,
an online store, numerous database and administration screens.

United States Air Force
The United States Air Force contracted ima
for a 2- year long project to turn a 2000 page security equipment
manual into a user- friendly interactive CD-ROM manual. This manual
would accompany the troops into the field so they could have quick
access to information and videos with just a click of a mouse, leaving
behind the cumbersome 2000 page manual.
The interactive manual included text, photos, schematics, search
engine, troubleshooting section and mpeg videos of the security
equipment sensors and monitoring displays. Now, if a solder has
a problem setting up a piece of equipment they don't have to fumble
through a cumbersome paper manual; all they have to do is click
a button as see a video of the entire equipment setup. This manual
has greatly helped the troops with proper setup of equipment and
reduced calls to the technical support desk, which may be located
on the other side of the world.
The CD-ROM is totally self contained and developed entirely with
html docs and mpeg video, so it will run on any computer with a
CD-ROM drive and a web browser. Updates to the manual can be performed
quickly on the simple html docs.
